How to Use

SUPERMats garage containment mats

Setup

1.

Prepare

3.

Fill

Prepare the garage floor by sweeping, washing and letting it dry.  Warm the SUPERMat to room temperature.

Unroll your SUPERMat and place it with the SUPERMat logo face down.

Fill a spray bottle with 1/2 cup warm or hot water and about 2 squirts of dish soap. Shake.

Flip the SUPERMat over, so the SUPERMat logo is face up.  Ensure the foam is touching on all corners, to create proper containment. Adjust SUPERMat location on the garage floor as desired.  Check the Instruction Manual to install the velcro pads, if desired.

Spray the ends of the foam insert tubes and the foam insert port openings on the SUPERMat with the soap solution.  Slide the foam tubes into the port openings on the 3 sides of the SUPERMat to allow drainage outside of the garage door. Or, if desired, insert the 4th side, perpendicular to the garage door, for a full mat containment (ensuring the foam makes a solid 90 degree angle corner).

Note: if you have the 16' or 18' mat, use the 4 longer foam inserts for the 2 short ends of the mat

Cleanup

Open the garage door.  Remove vehicle from the SUPERMat.

If you have the foam inserts on all 4 sides of the SUPERMat, remove the foam insert just from the 4th side, perpendicular to the garage door.

Sweep off the SUPERMat.  Spray out the SUPERMat with water. Use a large broom, with water and dish soap, to scrub any tough stains.  Attach a broom handle to  the SUPERMat squeegee. Use the SUPERMat squeegee to push all mud, slush, and water out of the SUPERMat and outside the garage.

Reinsert the foam into the 4th side of the SUPERMat, if desired.

NOTE: DO NOT use a shovel or any sharp surfaced items to clean the mat.

Installation

Refer to the SUPERMat setup area above or the complete Instruction Manual. No other special tools are required. Be careful when you open the box, do NOT use a sharp object which could cut the fabric and void any warranty

Site preparation before installation

Sweeping and washing the floor prior to installation of the SUPERMat is mandatory. Make sure you do not have any sharp edges or old paint/caulk that could cause indentations in the mat as this will void warranty.  It is best to let the SUPERMat warm up to the garage temperature prior to completing the installation.

Proper placement

SUPERMats should be placed with the logo face up, to create more of a containment effect to collect rain, snow, mud or other fluids and to allow the mat to lay flatter on the garage floor.

Outdoor use

SUPERMat can be used outside, however, prolonged sun exposure can cause color fading.
